Hack4FUTO is the student hackathon at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. My teammates and I ran the fifth edition as our way of giving back before we graduated.

  1. Raised the sponsorship, including a $5,000 grant from Superteam Nigeria.
  2. 600+ students and builders on the day. 14 of the 22 finalist teams built on Solana.
  3. Built the website, a live audience vote over server-sent events, and a public treasury where every expense has a receipt and an on-chain proof.
  4. The treasury has an MCP connector, so spending is logged straight from Claude.
